Cornerstone OnDemand offers a combined Learning and Talent Management System delivered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Product development takes place in close cooperation with the customer base. This results each quarter in an new version with product enhancements and/or new functionality. The new autumn release has interesting new features, we selected a number of them for you:
Access to the‘Career Center’
In the Career Center you can present the structure of job roles in your organisation. You can link responsibilities, requirements, competences and training to these roles. Also you can define career paths: what is the logical next career step. The employee is able to see what the next step is and what is the match with his current position. Apart from this, the employee can search for a match with a job outside the logical career path.
 Connect: informal learning and social networks
The distinction between formal and informal learning is getting less sharp. Cornerstone OnDemand is adapting to this and has released 'Connect'. In Connect employees can share knowledge, learn from each other, exchange ideas and meet experts. Connect can be implemented as a stand-alone social network, but can also be integrated in a formal training setup.
